When you become an intern with us during your summer break, you can expect:
Interning with Allen Distribution was one of the most impactful experiences of my college years and set the foundation for my career. Four years ago, I had the opportunity to join the team as an intern, and that experience not only gave me hands-on learning but also showed me what it means to be part of a supportive, innovative culture. From day one, I felt encouraged to grow, contribute, and challenge myself.
After graduating, I was fortunate to return to Allen Distribution and over the past 2.5 years I’ve had the opportunity to hold three different positions, including promotions that have pushed me to expand my skills and take on new responsibilities. That kind of growth wouldn’t have been possible without the mentorship, culture, and opportunities this company provides.
I am so grateful that my career started here, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to learn, grow, and build a future. – Maddy S.
At Allen Distribution, we’re proud to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Our internships offer full training on each part of our business, not just one particular area. You’ll see how our distribution and 3PL logistics company provides supply chain design, logistics management, distribution essentials, fulfillment needs and transportation solutions for outside clients.
We showcase how we build long-term partnerships through a culture prioritizing trust, adaptability and keeping promises. All our internships end with a capstone presentation to our executive team, offering an opportunity to share the knowledge and skills you’ve acquired.
My internship with Allen Distribution was a truly rewarding experience. From day one, the training was well-structured and straightforward, giving me a clear understanding of what I needed to learn and how to apply it. Whenever I needed extra guidance on a topic, the team was eager to provide support and ensure I was back on track.
I worked in Stockton, CA, with an incredible team who were patient and accommodating as I learned the ins and outs of warehousing. Coming in with minimal experience, I appreciated how both employees and management took the time to help me gain confidence and build my knowledge.
One of the highlights of my internship was the opportunity to travel to headquarters in Pennsylvania, where I met other interns and employees from different facilities across Allen Distribution. This experience allowed me to expand my network, sharpen my skills in logistics, and gain valuable insights into the business.
Overall, this internship gave me hands-on experience, professional growth, and connections that I will carry with me throughout my career. I am grateful to have been part of such a supportive and engaging program. – Jeremiah C.
