Distribution Center Manager

Allen Distribution, a growing Third Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouse & Transportation Company located in Carlisle PA, is seeking a full-time, experienced Distribution Center Manager. This position will manage the day to day operations of the Distribution Center.

• Direct, coordinate, and implement all distribution center policies and procedures, customer service, and office operations in accordance with company procedures.

• Monitor and ensure facility performance metrics are met in a timely and cost effective manner.

• Ensure operations are in compliance with customer work instructions and company procedures.

• Select, develop, and motivate distribution center employees in a team environment.

• Assist management in establishing distribution center performance objectives and strategic planning.

• Analyze throughput information, capacity planning, and flow through.

• Analyze operations on a continuing basis and reports necessary improvements to the Manager of Operations in a timely manner.

• Ensure operating efficiencies across all functions of the DC Distribution center operations.

• Be accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives in regards to cost, productivity, customer service and profit.

• Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and MSDS Standards, as well as, state and local requirements.

• Ensure a culture of safety throughout the company by following Company safety policies and procedures - monitor DC safety and security on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Distribution Center Management experience utilizing WMS and RF technology.

• Experience implementing continuous improvement programs.

• Ability to develop and maintain positive employee and customer relationships.

Work Environment

• Reports to Manager of Operations.

• Interacts across many departments within the company such as Sales, Transportation, Human Resources, Safety and Security.

• Will routinely interact with customers on a day to day basis.
